Complexities of Life: a Sanguine/Sagittarian/Water Horse's point of view
They see us as the cheerful, bubbly, childish, positive person that we are but they fail to see that there's more to being a Sanguine/Sagittarian/Water Horse than that. To explain, one must first understand what each of these are.
The Sanguine is one of the four temperaments which according to Wikipedia, "is fundamentally sociable and pleasure-seeking; sanguine people are
impulsive and charismatic. They tend to enjoy social gatherings, making
new friends and tend to be boisterous. They are usually quite creative
and often daydream. Sanguine personalities generally struggle with
following tasks all the way through, are chronically late, and tend to
be forgetful and sometimes a little sarcastic. Often, when they pursue a
new hobby, they lose interest as soon as it ceases to be engaging or
fun. They are very much people persons. They are talkative and not shy.
Sanguines generally have an almost shameless nature, certain that what
they are doing is right. They however, lack confidence. Sanguine people
are warm-hearted, pleasant, lively and optimistic. They have been called
"people-oriented extroverts"."The Water Horse is one of the five types of horses in the Chinese Star Signs. People born under the year of the Horse tend to fall very easily in and out of love, as well as being both cheery and very well-liked they are willful and irritable but often very nice-looking. Some of their other personality traits include: a love of exercise, a tendency to make rash choices and they have a unpredictable character. They are somewhat lively, impulsive and independent, unbiased, adaptable and proficient and think nothing of making a snap decision. They possess the ability to "manipulate" people and events. Often they rush those that are not as quick as themselves. They have a love of independence and free-will and give preferential to things done their way, although they do tend to be forgetful and "jump to conclusions". Their powers of persuasion are extraordinary and they are neither envious or mistrustful by nature; instead they loathe wasting time, can be variable, cannot stick to agendas and have great difficulty in unwinding. Although having many friends, they like better, to rely on themselves and prefer their way of achieving their aims. The water horse specifically is characterized by flexibility and amusingness. They lack consistency, are motivated by "action" and self-absorbed.
Now you see, if these three are combined, you get a mess of a personality. I for one, have all these qualities -give or take 3- in me and now, in my 20's I am very unstable. My goal when I was a kid is to graduate the top of my class, have a stable job, and settle down. As you can see these goals contradict my nature. Yes, I graduated with colors, but I can't stay for 5 months in any job I've had so far. I want to mix work with pleasure which is very very hard. I know a little about a lot of things because of the constant change, but I am not a master at anything. My parents, whom I love dearly, are praying for me to get a permanent job, but I'm scared that I'll mess it up! My mom actually said that nothing good will ever happen to me when I keep doing what I'm doing, but I just can't fight the urge to change job locations. I always envision myself pulling my suitcase inside the airport and I fell great pleasure. It's like every inch of my body wants that. I want to travel. And now I am lost inside my head. I don't know what to do. I can continue on getting a permanent job, but I will never be happy. I'll always want to leave. To see, do, and learn new things in different places is the reason of my existence. *sad face*
